And he ordered a coffee, saying he was waiting for an ambulance to come.

According to a Detroit Free Press report, the 52-year-old man called 911 in Warren and said he was stabbed after a man tried to rob him.

Startled employees and customers at the diners were almost freaked out by what they were witnessing.

Police later said the man was treated and had recovered.
